Meleesa The Salon and Vogue Salon Get Creative

Meleesa and Sarah united their creative vision to recreate a class they attended in Santa Monica. Howard McLaren, creative director of Bumble landed in the West coast and selected 13 stylists from California to sharpen the creative eye as a team. Meleesa and Sarah participated in this amazing class that was very inspiring. Doing the most detailed group consultations to really see all the angles of what was possible with transforming a everyday haircut into the ideal haircut for each model. There was such a talented group of stylists and the results where so great we thought… we want more!
Sarah and Meleesa united forces to recreate the class to bring the best of New York’s Bumble and Bumble to the best salons in the orange county. The class was hosted at Vogue salon where we did group consultations. Putting in our 2 cents to create million dollar transformations, we used our creative eye to bring out the best in each of our models. Of course, finishing up with our favorite Bumble and Bumble product cocktails.

Tips and Products for Smooth Beautiful Blowouts!

Like they say in the video, everyone wants the hair they don’t have. Well, at least not when they wake in the morning. But there’s no reason you can’t have the smooth straight, natural looking hair that you want with a little work. Here’s a few quick tips from us as Meleesa the Salon on getting that seemingly unmanageable hair under control.
First, use a shampoo that is considerate of your own personal hair type (oily, dry and such).
Towel dry, and apply Bumble and Bumble PREP or Tonic Lotion.
Rather than mouse, Meleesa recommends B&B STRAIGHT or Liss Ultime Serum by Serie Expertt – this contain silicone and aragon oil, which will keep moisture inside the hair and porctect form outside humidity
Next, toss dry 70% off the moisture out of your hair.
Section it out with with clip – Remember to always have a nozlle on your dryer
We recomend Ibiza 100 boar bristle brushes – WE LOVE THESE!
To flat iron just run through and use DOES IT ALL. You can also use a heat-protection spray like STYLING LOTION, pre blowout.
