I have a client at the Cannes Film Festival right now and she asked me how to do her own Red Carpet Look. We stared by applying surf spray all over and brilliantine at the ends. Then blew the hair out section by section. From there we used Spray de Mode and curled with a 1 inch iron leaving the last inch of hair out. After it was complete we broke it down, applied some powder, shook it and finished with classic. Her hair was as big as her smile!

We Love Bumble and Bumble here at Meleesa the Salon. Not only do they offer some of the best haircare products on the market, they give some of the best styling advice around. Here’s a couple mix-&-match recipes from B&B for you ladies with fine/medium waves and curls.

We know if can be tough to make those babies pop and stand out, rather than become one wavy blob. If you like messy do’s these two are for you:

Recipe #1 – KK

  • Prepare hair with Prep.
  • Apply Styling Creme from roots to ends.
  • Blow-dry with a round brush.
  • Apply Styling Wax throughout for pieced-out texture and shine.

Recipe #2 – Veronica

  • Prepare hair with Prep.
  • Apply Thickening Hairspray from roots to ends.
  • Layer Surf Spray from roots to ends.
  • Let air dry.
  • Distribute Grooming Creme throughout for added texture.
